We designed StatementConvert AU so that your bank statement data never leaves your device. The converter runs entirely in your browser. We do not upload, store, process, or even see your bank statements.
Converter usage (app.html): Nothing. All parsing happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. When you paste text or select a PDF, the data stays in your browser's memory for the duration of the session. Closing or refreshing the page discards it.
Pro AI re-parse (optional, Pro subscribers only): If you click the "AI re-parse" button, the statement text is sent to our AI processing provider (DeepSeek) solely to extract the transactions, then immediately discarded. It is not stored, not used for training, and never shared for marketing. The free tier never sends anything.
Payment (if you purchase Pro): Payment processing is handled by our payment provider (Creem, a Merchant of Record). When you purchase, Creem collects your name, email address and payment details to process the transaction. We receive only the transaction confirmation and a customer reference — we never see or store your card details.
Contact (email): If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message, used only to respond to your enquiry.
Nothing from your bank statements. We do not maintain user accounts, do not keep conversion history, and do not log which banks or statements you process.
The converter page does not use analytics trackers or advertising cookies. We may use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics on the public landing page to understand general traffic (e.g., page views). No personal or financial data is collected.
Our payment provider (Creem) processes payments under its own privacy policy and acts as the Merchant of Record for sales. Our AI re-parse provider (DeepSeek) processes statement text only transiently as described above. We may update either provider without notice; current provider details are shown at checkout.
Because we store no statement data, there is nothing to retain or delete. Payment records are retained by our payment provider as required by law (typically for tax purposes).
You can use the converter without providing any personal information. If you contacted us or made a purchase, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing us. Where we rely on a payment provider, requests related to payment data should be directed there first.
Local processing is inherently secure — data that never leaves your device cannot be intercepted on our servers (there are none). The optional Pro AI re-parse transmits data over an encrypted connection to our AI provider and discards it immediately. Payments are handled by Creem using industry-standard encryption.
Our service is intended for professional and business use and is not directed at children under 18.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the date above.
